Admission to HARAPRASAD SHASTRI VIDYABHAWAN School of Excellence is open to all children from pre-kindergarten to Class 9.
Procedure to Register and Admitting Your Ward
It should be noted that admission of students is determined based on their age.
- Collect the Admission Form at the front desk of the school.
- Fill out the application by affixing the proper documents, as specified below:
- Latest passport-sized Coloured photograph (portrait) of the child – 3 No’s. & one common photo of Father-Child-Mother together (passport-sized-landscape)
- Birth Certificate of the Child
- Transfer Certificate of Previous School
- Unmasked AADHAR card copies of the Father, Mother, and child
- Voter card copies of Father & Mother
Submit the Application Form at the front desk of the school.
We would like to inform every parent that we have only limited seats available from Pre-Kindergarten to Class 9, as per the NEP policy and directive of WBBSE (West Bengal Board of Secondary Education).
Exerting any influence for admission, directly or indirectly, will be a disqualification.
We acknowledge the interest of all parents who wish to be a part of the HPSVB fraternity.
To have an effective teaching-learning process, we have maintained limited class strength. Considering the limited number of seats available, it is expected that those who seek admission will realize and understand the constraints that the institution faces.

Written Test Details
Students who appear for the written test will be tested based on logical, analytical, application and general knowledge questions, which are age appropriate, of the subject concerned.
For the selected students, there will be an interview with the Chairman / Principal.
The originals have to be submitted for verification during the interview.
To have an effective teaching learning process, we maintain limited class strength. Considering the limited number of seats available, it is expected that those who seek admission will realize and understand the constraints the institution faces. The disappointment of not getting admission should not become a matter of unhappiness among parents.
Admissions to Classes 1 to 9 are finalized based on the performance in the written test conducted. Normally some classes will have no vacancies at all.
Exerting any influence for admission directly or indirectly will be a disqualification.
Students applying for Class 1 to 2 are tested in:

Students applying for Classes 3 to 9 are tested in:
